SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 as TV REMOTE CONTROL
I am back with another awesome post telling you to use Samsung Galaxy S4 as a TV Remote Control. Yes! We can use galaxy S4 as TV remote control to control television.
Isn’t it so innovative? Samsung has been always trying to force the users to buy their premium devices by equipping so many unique features that the buyer itself gets attract. Imagine, you are operating all your home appliances using a single device, which is your mobile phone. And that is now possible.
So, it is clear that Samsung Galaxy S4, boards in such feature which makes it a TV Remote but still we need to setup the device for the remote control use. What to use? How to use? I have all the answers. So, have a look on the steps given below.
How to use Samsung Galaxy S4 as TV Remote Control

STEP 1 – Launch the WatchOn application from the applications tray of your device. It is the application which is used to setup S4 as remote control. If you have started it for the first time, you will be asked about your interests. Fill it if you have sometime as it will be useful for you to find channels of interest easily then, otherwise skip if you have no time.
STEP 2 – When the main interface of WhatsOn application, you will be asked to enter the TV brand and its model number (the TV which is to be operated).
NOTE – Make sure you have switched off your television while this setup.
STEP 3 – Now you will see a power button, which is to be pressed for 10-12 seconds. And you have setup your TV with the S4.
STEP 4 – Now it is time to setup your cable service (TV cable setup box). Put the brand of DTH or cable which you are using.
STEP 5 – Click on More Info in order to enable the InfraRed. And now switch on your TV to enjoy changing channels and watching TV using S4 as remote.

For the users, who want to use S4 as remote of other electronics appliances, should go through this path: Home (WhatsOn app)> Settings> Room> My Room> My Devices. Then the same procedure should be followed.
