Today we are here to celebrate 67th Republic Nation of our nation. India made her own constitution on 26 January 1950.Thus we are celebrating this day since then as Republic Day of India.

New Delhi is the capital of India and India Gate is the main place where Republic Day is celebrated every year. A special parade is being held on this very special day. All three armed forces take place in this parade. Our president takes salute from the armed forces. Then the President unfurls the national flag of India “Tiranga” along with the chief guest from other foreign nation.

Folk dances are held .Students from various colleges and schools performs dances, takes part in march and past and sing National Song “Jana Gana Mana”.

All the government building is being decorated with the lights. People comes out of their houses to see this mesmerizing view.

And maintain its laws, India made her own constitution on 26 January 1950.Thus we are celebrating this day since then as Republic Day of India. 26 January of every year is known as Republic Day of India. The word republic stands for a country that is ruled by people, elected by the people of that nation. So India become the world’s one of the best democratic nation.

Republic day is celebrated all over India with great enthusiasm .New Delhi is the capital of India and India Gate is the main place where Republic Day is celebrated every year. A special parade is being held on this very special day. All three armed forces take place in this parade. Our president takes salute from the armed forces. Our Prime Minister offers garland at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at the India Gate. It is done to commemorate all the sacrifices of the Indian army soldiers while saving their country. The President addresses the nation with his speech and distributes the national awards to brave and courageous people.

Then there comes special part of the day. Last year, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited Barrack Obama (44th President of United States of Maerica-USA) as a foreign chief guest on the auspicious day of 26th January 2015.It is expected that the chief guest in 2016 would be French President Francois Hollande .

There is also a big exhibition of the Indian culture and tradition takes place by the different Indian states to show the Unity in diversity in India.

There is no doubt that our country has developed a lot and counted among the powerful countries. Together with some developments, some drawbacks have also arisen such inequality, poverty, unemployment, corruption, illiteracy, etc. We need to take a pledge today that we would be together to solve such problem and make our nation as one of the developed nation and best country of the world.
